In the world of today, good research, enlightened policy and funding could be much better connected. A lot of people think that policy and research have never been further apart. Policy doesn't rely on research. In fact sometimes it is brought in after the decision has been made. However, Eidos thinks that sometimes we have a single powerful idea, a great insight as the tipping point for social and economic change. The key to success is the shared and connected values between policy and research.
