I like that the back cover of the Action Comics #1 in the little black and white segment is an ad for the death of Ultimate Spider-Man, with the red logo on black.

It's not for proving manliness. It's for allowing one to make fun of others' reactions to spicy foods without hypocrisy.

@BagelTheWalrus They can kick you out for any reason that's not legally considered discriminatory. Free speech doesn't trump their rights to decide what is permitted on their property.

@tkeitez66 This act was fodder for the censors, yeah. The idea was to come up with something so blatant that the censors would all latch onto it, so something else what was risque would get by via looking tamer by comparison.

Telling children that the moon only comes out at night seems like it would just set one up for difficulties the next time a solar eclipse comes around.

@NigelCartoon A lot of soda cans in Europe are tin-plated steel, according to Wikipedia (not always necessarily reliable, but still). It says the tops are often aluminum, though, so you might be able to check that with a magnet, and try the gallium just on that part.

@Deathgizmo She was already on probation for credit card fraud (charging a few thousand on a co-worker's cards at another local mall), so the lawsuit trying to get money from this isn't really all that surprising.

@spawn10317 He's an obnoxious and immoral killer? Just the second part is enough for those four (it's what they do, after all). He's hilarious, but if he kept bugging you like he bugs all of them, especially if you had a yen for getting rid of evil-doers, wouldn't you be tempted?

Plus, it's funny.

Little bit of radiation on the skin for a brief period of time really won't do much. Now, repeated exposure and ingestion of small amounts of radioactive material... That'll do a bit more harm - just look up the "Radium Girls" for what can happen when it's not just a few minutes of contact.
