This reminds me so painfully of a great American indie flick called 'Art for Teachers of Children' which ripped me apart as an undergraduate. Folks should look it up.

Back then you had to have TREMENDOUS TALENT to be an American performer. Less and less the case these days. Tragic.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm an American who kept trying to live in the UK until recently, and even I know that this would not have aired. There are limits to airable daytime innuendo in Britain; that's why there's a nine o'clock TV watershed. Brilliant and priceless.

Here's a Canadian actor who was naturally family-orientated, articulate and humble to a fault. Do we see this in American actors today? Hardly; or else it's fake and transparent. British performers have this same kind of humility. Just something to think about...
