Has anyone noticed how the chord progression from Tales of Brave Ulysses bears a distinct resemblance to that in the opening theme of The Sweeney? Great God, even the wah wah is similar!

That's such a weird looping effect in the bass line, which is actually in the upper range - very unusual in bass, if not to say unique. I've certainly never heard anyhing quite like it; but then, The Beatles were way ahead of their time.

@makky123 Probably, although I'd say the bass track on Paperback Writer was Paul's finest hour. Did you know that the phrase in Day Tripper 'she's a big teaser' was originally 'she's a prick teaser'? It was, needless to say, amended for release.

Shocking these photos may be, but surely the most shocking of all is that of Lennon dead on a mortuary slab just hours later. I rather wise I hadn't seen that now.
