As a lot of people seem to ask where the name effects69 comes from. Here is a quick explanation.

I used to, and still do occasionaly play an online first person shooter game series called. Unreal Tournament. I played for many many years. The nick name derives from that. I used to play under the nick names FX^ and FX69. Oh and I picked that nick name because my graphics card or ( FX card ) at the time was playing up.
