www.eenusart.com is a down to earth outlet for me to show people my artwork and network and was on the whole complete in 2006...... ART STATEMENT...... work in freelance illustration / fine art in spare time. I work small scale when travelling and network online. I work various mediums when home and I attend exhibitions regularly in London every month. and collect art books, comics, vinyl, source material and sketchbooks for ideas. When not on contracts I am happy to do a year of my ongoing fine art degree. Early interests in music, metal record covers logos comics and graffiti piece books. Painted murals on my bedroom wall, shop signs and murals every few month to practice. Involved in producing flyers, record covers and logos through independent music labels.Worked with jon-one doing shop murals, record covers and tattoo designs, as an Art assistant teaching in first schools as community service for 2 years and won what later became the Nicholas Bates fine art award in 6th form. Took part time courses since leaving school in graphics, computers and fine art whilst working and going to gigs. Profile in the crack magazine feb 2001. DJ, influences of music, literature, culture, industry and the times. Past use of a hands on drawn technique using biro and mixed media, digital art, fine art and illustration. Some of the contexts of the work here are of self, of past studies, rebellion, music, sport, industry, travel or to practice. Small scale landscapes designs and montages are from my own sources and photographs. Print runs of local landscapes for sale plus had some help from the princes trust. I exhibited at woodhorn gallery in a new talent exhibition and small works exhibition. Currently working with Newbiggin arts forum, applying for illustrations published and doing competitions. Will consider unpaid work as long as credited. Criminal Minds front EP cover -- mind bomb, Labello records 1992, crimetime records and flyers. 4 hero typeface. Other work to support other independent artists and bands......MUSIC STATEMENT......dj Klockwerk aka eenus - played hip hop in a group called the beat vultures who were unreleased with Jon-one. Joint winner at Holocaust- Competition at a Scottish event . Played at the Mayfair, Newcastle. Then was Resident at steppaz one playing drum and bass......
