Great acquisition! I've had 3 Swisschamps (but one got stolen in Dec 2010)... Unless such a thing happens, your knife should last for the rest of your life. It's the most useful of the SAKs in my opinion and it's EDC friendly.

Great knife. Interesting pliers set. Victorinox is still my favourite, but Wenger is a quality multitool as well. Congrats on your purchase

I'm a big fan of Victorinox knives and I've got quite a few of them. I'm also very much interested in those more complete knives such as the Swisschamp and the Workchamp but in my opinion the XAVT is impractical for it's size and weight and there are too many duplicate functions too. @RN1204 How have you liked your Workchamp so far?? I've got one coming in the mail too.. I'm sure I'll like the tools but I'm afrait it's too heavy and big, which may become a little impractical to carry on a daily basis. What do you think?

Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the Fieldmaster is not comercialized in Europe but only in North America (at least this model isn't listed on the European Victorinox website)

Too few tools!! I love Victorinox knives, but this one is too limited. I prefer the Workchamp and the Swisschamp.
