I am enlisted, and was suppose to go to basic monday, but we did IST the 12 with the Sgt Major and I passed everything! I hung for 40 sec, did 97 crunches in 2 minutes, and ran the mile and a half in 12.12. but he said that he didnt think I would be Mentally ready to go since I have only been in the DEP ffor 2 months. So now I leave Feb. 13. What would be your best advice to keep me sane for the next two weeks. I am so ready to leave, like I would be fine leaving monday. I was crying to my mom yesterday because I couldn't go, I want this more then anything in the world.
Also I have a question about like dating, and marriage life. Is your husband also a Marine, or a civilian living with you? I was wondering if you knew any females who had civilian boyfriends, or husbands and how that would work..

i have a question abt the marines. is it hard being married? is your husband also a marine? and do you get confused on what to do and to adjust everytime you go somewhere new?

hi, my name is jazmin and im 18. im planning on enlisting after i graduate in may or sooner but im a bit on the chubby side an i know there is a certain height and weight requirement. i would appreciate if you gave me some tips on working out (what are the things i should really work on?) im really into make up..can we wear it at bootcamp (not to much,just so i dont look dead) i also wanted to know how the GI bill works and how you go to school while in the usmc (the process) ..last thing i promise, are girls mean to eachother at bootcamp?
