Yes it is a very cool look on a white back ground. We should have our newest video All Fired Up for sale soon on my web site. It have 9 different techniques on how to paint different styles of flames on all kinds of different colored back grounds.

I think it's so cool that you take the time to answer so many questions. I am starting to do some airbrushing on surfboards with waterbased paint. First off I'm doing it on the finished board, and hopefully on the foam blank before glassing as I get better. Do you think it will be possible to do the realistic flames on this white background?

Hi Ed, I'm from Poland, 3 countries under Estonia (looking at the map :-)). I love your paint job too, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use your tricks yet, cause I thrown myself "on a deep water" :-) and I get a painting project on a lake house (station for a divers). I use the airbrush and some bigger guns. I will be appreciate if you share some your tips&tricks about making real underwater life on a walls or whatever else surface.
Thanks in advance (and sorry for my english too, I know it isn't well) |
