Doesn't make any sense that the ladder company would find it necessary to vent the roof at this fire. Don't mean to hate but if this was my house I would have went up to the roof to stop you. There was no smoke even coming out of the hole once you opened up. Guys didn't check the cockloft for ...

LOL the engine crew was inside fighting the fire. Once the vent hole was cut they were able to push deeper into the room because the heat had a place to go.
