Brother, I didnt explode for an illusion i got offended because the statemnet was untrue, The fact is alot of people of faith within the metal community as well as the rest of its brothers such as Punk and hard rock, are for the most part ashamed of their own faith out of the ridiculous fear of being austrisized from the very community which they hold an alligiance too. it is simply that. That statement on the metal community being a majority of atheists is also a load of bullshit, did you know that only 5% percent of the worlds population doesnt belive in a God or simply questions a higher being? That leaves 95% of the world who does believe in a God. Although does not apply its self to the norm for the most part. Peoples faith in what ever they were raised in or not seem to arise in lyrics of metal for plenty of bands. God if it wasnt for religion or Christianity more like Metal would be kind of a dry subject.

Black Sabbath (the makers of metal) were a God fearing Band. Hence the crucifixes made by Ozzy's (John Michael Osbourne) to ward off evil. metal is nothing more then the telling of fears mysteries effects an followers of evil. This does not mean that metal is run by the devil, but is simply amplified poetic madness in ode to the doings of the fallen lucifer and his minions.So one must consider, if in fact Metal is dominated by The Devil because The Devil is the root of the music, then one must also give praise to the Devils root foundation whih is the product of Gods command, for even Satan serves The father in Heaven as the enforcer of his will by torment.
