About Me:
Eder Lopez is born Tuesday, 27th November of 1984 in Barakaldo (Basque Country). Since young age he was already being well mannered in music listening vinyls from Vivaldi and Pavarotti happening through Oskorri and Kepa Junkera until Warlock, Accept, Nazareth, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Van Halen
At the age of 7 he decides to leave martial arts he practiced to enter in the world of music, so a year later he enters the Music Conservatory of Barakaldo. Although his ambition was to play the drums or guitar, he chooses the Txistu (Basque traditional wind instrument) by request of his father. Fernando Aurrekoetxea Elortegi and Carlos Rojo Fuentes were his Txistu teachers. During his stay in the conservatory he attended subjects like Txistu, Musical Language, Instrumental Practice, Choir, Piano and Harmony. At the age of 18 he recovers the lost dream and he plays drums for the first time thanks to Alejandro Pérez Ceballos, percussion teacher of this conservatory. He got so fascinated by the instrument, he decides to keep learning to play it on self-taught form during 5 years leaving therefore the studies in the conservatory to dedicate himself to the drums.
This time enters like drummer in a rock band named Fuego Salvaje, which soon dissolves. He was so anxious to play this instrument; his father gives him his first drum kit and tries to form a band which didnt go ahead. In March of 2007 hes requested to be member of the acoustic band named Symphonikey, playing winds and percussion. Its in June of 2008 when he enters on Chronos, a progressive metal band, playing drums. In April of 2009 he decides to have drum lessons and he enters the modern music school Mr. Jam, with the prestigious drummer Blas Fernandez as teacher, where he is studying at the moment.
In September 2009, recorded with Symphonikey his first studio album.
At the moment he is preparing and recording a demo with Chronos. He also has in mind to prepare and record own compositions.

Eder Lopez nace un martes 27 de Noviembre de 1984 en Barakaldo, País Vasco. Desde pequeño ya estaba siendo bien educado en la música escuchando vinilos desde Vivaldi y Pavarotti pasando por Oskorri y Kepa Junkera hasta Warlock, Accept, Nazareth, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Van Halen, etc.
A la edad de 7 años decide dejar las artes marciales que practicaba para entrar en el mundo de la música, así que a los 8 años ingresa en el Conservatorio de Grado Medio de Música de Barakaldo. Aunque su ambición era tocar la batería o la guitarra escoge el Txistu (instrumento tradicional vasco de viento) por petición de su padre. Sus profesores de Txistu fueron Fernando Aurrekoetxea Elortegi y Carlos Rojo Fuentes. Durante su estancia en el conservatorio cursó asignaturas como Txistu, Lenguaje Musical, Práctica Instrumental, Coro, Piano y Armonía. A los 18 años recupera el sueño perdido y toma contacto por primera vez con una batería gracias a Alejandro Pérez Ceballos, profesor de percusión de dicho conservatorio. Tal es su fascinación por el instrumento que decide seguir adelante aprendiendo a tocarlo de forma autodidacta durante 5 años dejando así los estudios en el conservatorio para dedicarse a la batería.
En este tiempo entra como batería en un grupo de rock llamado Fuego Salvaje, que pronto se disuelve. Al ver las ganas por tocar este instrumento, su padre le regala su primera batería e intenta formar un grupo que al final no salió adelante. En Marzo de 2007 le piden formar parte del grupo acústico Symphonikey, pero a los vientos y percusión. Es en Junio de 2008 cuando entra a formar parte de Chronos, un grupo de metal progresivo, aquí ya a la batería. En Abril de 2009 decide que debe obtener clases de batería y entra en la escuela de música moderna Mr. Jam, con el prestigioso baterista Blas Fernández como profesor, donde sigue actualmente.
En Septiembre de 2009, graba con Symphonikey su primer disco de estudio.
Actualmente está preparando y grabando una maqueta con Chronos. También tiene en mente preparar y grabar composiciones propias.
