Its not that the claw is attached too high, more the fact that instead of being screwed parallel to the pocket the holes, and so screws and subsequently claw, are at an angle so the claw sticks up. Nice playing. I have a Surf90 in the bridge of my Tele. I was thinking about getting the neck as the cavity is deep enough for it. The only thing is, at the moment I have it wired to shunt the neck in series with the bridge as well as reverse its phase. These Surf90s are two wire pups with no way...
