My least favorite [people] are the ones that you can't rationally dispute... like the people who claim that the earth actually is 6000 years old, that radioactive dating methods are flawed, that there's some sort of vast conspiracy within the scientific and media community to keep us all in the dark because we're all being controlled by Satan. How do you argue with somebody who has that viewpoint? There is no common ground to have a rational discussion with that. That person is totally living in a fantasy world. You could hit him with the "Bat of Rationality" across the face and it still wouldn't make a dent. - kalin666

Sorry, but ignoring your religious views for now, the guy still ignored zoning laws, built without a permit, wasn't paying his property taxes, FALSELY DECLARED BANKRUPTCY (Isn't lying wrong in your religion?) and committed massive tax fraud yet you want him free just because he happens to post scientifically inaccurate videos regarding creationism? Do you really think he should be above the law? All you need to get a free legal ride is to be a moderately famous creationist? Are you insane???

Hovind's doctorate was in "Christian Education" from the Patriot Bible University which is not accredited by any recognized accreditation agency. He has no scientific qualifications. His dissertation has no title, no TOC, outlines 16 chapters but contains only 4, has no bibliography, and is full of errors such as "geological epic" for "geological epoch", and "centrifical force" for "centrifugal force". It contains no original research, the basis on which a PhD is supposed to be awarded.

How to properly view the Holy Texts:

Think of it like a movie. The Torah is the first one, and the New Testament is the sequel. Then the Quran comes out, and it retcons the last one like it never happened. Theres still Jesus, but hes not the main character anymore, and the messiah hasnt shown up yet.

Jews like the fist movie but ignored the sequels, Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the third movie doesnt count, Moslems think the third one was the best, and Mormons like the second one so much they started writing fan fiction that doesnt fit with ANY of the series canon.

	apeirce20 (1 month ago) Hi Eddy. I've been watching your videos for a while. For nearly 25 years of my life, up until recently, I was a christian. I was born and raised a christian, and was duped into accepting the things I learned in church, and was content in not thinking for myself. However, about a year ago I decided that this was unacceptable. I came across your channel on youtube and watched every last one of them. I was teetering on the fence between creationism and atheism and wasn't sure which side reflected reality. Your videos sparked an interest in me, and led me to start thinking for myself. I eventually came across Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Matt Dillahunty, and others. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me to free my mind. I now can live each day without the worry of the possibility of being tortured for eternity for not blindly accepting dogma.
