God's ways are really mysterious! Incomprehensible!

I may ask for all the greatness and abundance in this world, to the point of sacrificing even the quintessential part of me, just to obtain such a request, yet God has not responded to my plea leaving me in a state of silent anguish: feeling abandoned and forsaken.

I cannot be wrong. God must have unveiled the reason why all these are happening to me. Am I not yet ready to accept all that God has prepared for me? Thinking of all the undeserved graces and privileges that God has bestowed upon me yet remaining lukewarm, frivolous and unresponsive to His incessant calls and admonition clearly manifest its repercussions.

"Do whatever He tells You", this statement which was pronounced by Our Lady is so simple yet sublime in its meaning. How mysterious! I've had in my possession all the possible and imaginable access to my mediator, with her hands to the rescue, yet heaven's gate seemed to have closed even before my prayers have reached Him.

Still mysterious?

No.

The answer is not "tabula rasa" as my professor back in college would tell us whenever we're in doubt or speculative. The answer is just within me.

God is all magnanimous and not stingy of all the goods that He has. He's always ready to share all His richness to nourish not only my soul but my mortal body's needs as well- health, career and financial success etc. But first, He must see to it that my soul is not in peril once He bestows all the graces that I'm asking for.

Till now, God has been so eager to make me fully His, by inventing all sorts of enchantments and rewards everytime I'd fall and return back to His loving arms again.

Yes. Life is a struggle. It's a continuous and unending battle between my weakened and debilitated human will (stained by the original sin) and my true rest - Divine Will.

I have faith- a very strong one, that one day- that ultimate day- seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, when my WILL is completely fused with that of the DIVINE, (may God's Will Be Done as Always) - will no longer deny any supplications, petitions, or prayers that I'll offer Him.

Why?

Because God cannot deny what He wills. It's the conformity of my will and His that will always say "YES" to every prayer and request that I'll be asking.
