About this user

Me who? I have found no answer to the question, "Who am I?" There was a strong belief for a long time that I had that answer and I could expound on that for hours. It seems no more than a dream, an amorphous thought form that seems so real, and yet with only a little light, it is seen to be unreal. The name Afanas Velimir Vadim seemed appropriate. While looking for Russian names, as though pinning the tail on a donkey, these were picked. Afanas means "Immortal One". Valimir means "Great Peace". Vadim means "Knowing One". These do not describe any personal attributes, but rather what appears to be running the show known as "me"; a more fitting description of what not only plays the part of "me", but also "you". The body, a collection of food formed by who knows what. The mind, a cesspool of thoughts and ideas that have collected as leaves and rubbish in a whirlpool. Nothing I can call mine, since who would this "me" be that owned these spontaneously forming things? I used to wonder how people thought they could own a part of the planet which they had "grown from"; and even crazier, that they bought it from someone else that felt they owned it before them. This left me realizing that ownership is as much an idea as money. A concept. Agreed upon and made real to minds that collect these ideas, with no fault assigned, for it is as spontaneous an event as rain clouds in the sky. With that thought--and it is only a thought--in mind (a collector of thoughts), juggling and balancing are activities that occasionally happen and are enjoyed, like watching clouds form and children play. Who or what does it? It's a mystery. Mooji brings a smile to my face and peace and love to my heart. Life is good. Peace~Vadim
