I also typically view the world from a different perspective; almost as if through a looking glass. Everything seems backwards to me. I question much of what we learned in school, much of what's reported through the media, and much of what's taught in church establishments. Being that these three elements provide the majority of information the general public receives, they collectively shape the public opinion of a society. Logic should tell us that if these elements are, by chance, providing misinformation, and all of our opinions stem from that misinformation, would not all of us be mistaken? As historian Webster Tarpley put it, the end result would be an entire society built around a "monstrous myth." And that's where I believe we're at.
As far as things that really have no bearing on reality, I enjoy most kinds of music, particularly rock music. Don't mind hip hop, but when it gets into that gangsta crap, forget it. I also am quite fond of the Mass Effect series, Star Wars, and the Japanese Manga, Naruto.
