I feel sorry for these guys, not for the riskiness of their work, but for the fact that when there's nothing for them to do, there's *really* nothing for them to do. It's good that they're creative, because they end up stuck in some really boring situations sometimes.

@bigpoppanard According to Wiki he's third behind Thesz and Funk Jr, though him and Funk's reigns only have about a 30 day difference. He looks incredible for his age, too. Glad to see he's staying active in pretty much all areas.

Gwah, Dark Tooth was a terrifying and hard fight ... of course, I eventually realized you could get him stuck in the tunnels of the stage, which made him helpless, but still.

Mark Henry may have taken awhile to find his persona, find his voice in the business, but it makes it all the cooler. He stuck with it, tweaked his character, his style, and found himself, and rightfully got a (unfortunately cut short) world title reign.

@Murphdogg4 There was a time when all the wrestlers looked like Joe. Hell, Harley Race rocked a pretty big beer gut most of his career, and Harley was still the greatest of all time.

That wasn't Vince, honestly. Listening to wrestlers who were around Rodney, he was pretty much a hedonist, loved food, booze, women and weed. Nothing wrong with that, but, he never got control of it sadly.

I can see why they gave him the Yoko gimmick, he did kinda look like your typical Samoan, ...

You know, for a guy who gets called out for holding people down, Hogan did a good job at putting over his teammates as legit, dangerous men.

@andyk4986 It helps that Gene had such a distinctive voice and style, but yea, Gene knew to actually *sell* what was going on around him, to add more emotion, especially to something as explosive as this.

Good Goddess, Karyn's vocals send chills up my spine. She sounds truly inhuman.

@chriskoob That's more a symptom of TV turning away from pro wrestling than any fault of the indy itself. Most TV stations won't carry wrestling unless it's the WWE.

Jesus, Harley's promo is just chilling. So intense, so direct, and yet so much pride and passion.

I always figured that big jacket that Vis competed in at that time had to be a pain in the ass, it looked restrictive as hell. Also, you get a pretty good feel for just how fucking big Vis is when he's next to show.

Alot of folks don't realize that at his best, Conway could very much match Benoit's intensity and physicality.

Bundy honestly doesn't look 450 here ... looks closer to the low-mid 300s. Actually, he looked smaller than usual in general here.

It's funny (and sad) ... what Dokken does isn't terribly complex. But almost nobody can write and perform a ballad like this today. 20+ yrs later this stuff lives on, and it's no mystery why.

Seems like Chandler pulled his groin around 14:18, which is what led to the big offense run from Alvarez. Got pretty gory there at the end of round 3. Great fight no matter what.
