Looks like about 165psi (1160kpa). My '78 440 runs that too, since the previous owner shaved the stock head. Stock is only 120psi, according to my factory Kawasaki service manual. I've seen Mariner brand aftermarket heads on ebay where the seller claims "140psi", just for reference.

Turn your idle speed down, or take off the choke. Lose the air-box cover too, adds alittle power. I have the '83 version which is identical looking, minus the kick-starter. My '81 has the optional, removeable kick-starter like yours. These are great bikes, easy to wheelie all day long.

Looks great! These early E models are great looking machines. Too bad they weigh 380 pounds though. Garbage suspension too. It's a shame Yamaha cheaped-out with the steel rims and swingarm on these.
