@dubbly1 Woman tone is not an insult (like calling it wimpy). It's EC's own phrase to describe a sexy guitar tone. If you search here for interviews of EC during Cream, he talks about it and demonstrates both using tone control on guitar or wah wah in heel position.

hate to tell you all. if you search nirvana doing beatles covers at their shows in the early days (particularly "If I fell") it doesn't sound much better than these kids.
