I'm a gamer living in the middle of nowhere. I am terrible at games, mediocre at entertaining commentary, and excellent at self-deprecation.

If you want to suggest games for me to LP in the future, go ahead. Just realize I am seriously terrible at most games, so RPGs/turn-based games, casual games, and easy games work out best. Otherwise, it just goes from funny, to sad, to boring.

About me:

1.) What do you use to record?
Camtasia Studio 7. Obviously, I am not the one to ask about the ins and outs of it, but if I can figure it out, anyone can.

2.) What, exactly, do you do for work?
Short answer? I'm a freelance writer. Long answer? I help contribute, either during the conceptual phase or actual scripting, to various visual media, including TV, movies, and yes, video games. I can't list the projects I've worked on for my own privacy, or any I'm currently working on for legal reasons, but it's very interesting and rewarding work. It's also why I am really, really analytical when it comes to games: because it's part of my job to pick apart the plot, setting, and characters. (Although I enjoy the other part more: creating/fleshing out those things.)

3.) Why do you keep saying "25 cent word"? What is a "25 cent word"?
I had an English teacher in seventh grade who used to say that whenever a student used a rather obscure word properly. Since then, I've heard the phrase elsewhere as "ten cent word", "one dollar word", etc., but I still use the one I heard first.

4.) What's a "Drive-By Let's Play"?
Basically, it's an LP I do entirely one shot and upload all at once. They're generally short games, they come unannounced, and then I go back to other projects. Sort of like Kikoskia's "Let's Quickly Plays" or PushingUpRoses' "Let's Play Shorties". Also, possibly because of how much time I devote to one game, my self-censoring is shot, so I swear a lot more in those than in my other LPs.

5.) What's with the Silent Hill stuff when you don't play SH games, or seemingly any survival horror games?
Well, I don't for my CHANNEL. But essentially, it's a tribute to the fact that I live not only in Maine, but the town (it's actually a major city in Maine, but anywhere else would consider it a town because of its size and small population) I am about 90% sure was the basis for the layout and architecture of Silent Hill in the games. Why would they pick this place? Well, Stephen King lives here, for one thing. He also mentions it, or places a lot like it, quite often in his books. And let me put it this way: there are two major hospitals AND a mental hospital within walking distance of my house.
