@JIMMAK30 Werdum is a 2 time ADCC winner and is probably the best bjj fighter at HW in MMA; Silva could probably flatten any HW in MMA when he's on top because he's huge (and has good top control). IMO, that doesn't make Fedor's grappling game subpar when you compare it to two extreme cases. Sure...

Not bad, but a bit sloppy (missed notes and timing in some places). Don't get me wrong, you did a good job. I'm simply trying to point out areas of possible improvement.

I'm pretty sure if you check earlier metal albums you'd find other instances of that riff. IMO, LOG did not intentionally rip off the riff.

@JoX1992 Totally agree with you. For many metal bands, I'd rather watch a video where we don't see the band. The only time I want to see them play is live so as to avoid awkward situations where I'm like: "I love this band, but these guys look fcking weird in their video".

Good job, but I think you're not playing the legato parts in the correct position. If you listen to the record, you'll hear (for these legato parts) that the highest note bleeds into the other ones.

That's achieved by hammering the first two notes and playing the last note on the adjacent strin...

@bogoio GSP has hard time finishing fights because he's constitently fighting guys at the top level of a deep division. Silva insulted the (paying) public repeatedly by not engaging against lesser strikers than him.

Melodic master. Along with Alex Skolnick and Steve Vai, Joe brought me to guitar in the 1980s. I remember playing the solo at 2:48 ten times a day back then... still awesome.

IMO, Vai is WAAAY better improviser than Petrucci (but that's just my taste). For those saying Vai's playing has no feeling, check his live rendition of Blue Powder or listen to the original (or For the Love of God).

When this album came out, it was one of my favorite Testament albums. All my friends called it gay, now they're eating their words.

Detail: in the beginning of Alex's solo it's sweep picking and not muted strings ("X").

Alex is the main reason I picked up the guitar more than 20 years ago. Peterson's solo is great on that song (second solo).
