She is a lovely person-generous and smart- personal qualities entirely evident in her playing. She's one o' the guys...can get on just about any bandstand and push things along in a very swinging, musical way. Play one of her tunes for your friends and ask 'em, 'What do you think of this guit...

My favorite version is done by The Four Freshmen(the original group,) but this certainly is beautiful. Lou always turned in a superlative performance.

It's encouraging that not every young player is interested in playing fast arpeggios and scales through 500 watts and 12 speakers........i.e. making a lot of racket that has little to do with real music. Frank is a really fine musician, confident enough in his own playing that he doesn't have...

Does it matter when this piece was 'worked out?' It would seem to me that it happened at all is incredible. Tommy Emanuel is in this league, but i can't think of anyone else. This guy absolutely smokes. The thing that gets me is that ...HE SWINGS. Very precious....only a few guys do that. ...
