To see or not to see

At the moment, many people in Western countries assume it's normal to use women with blonde or bleached blonde hair in the media, in a high number of media productions, as a symbol of womanhood, glamour and celebrity.

I don't think this is as normal as many people assume it is, and it's also having some very damaging consequences for society.

In this video series I ask some very candid questions about this behaviour.

This is not an attack on blonde women and this is not an attack on any race or any gender! Every human being is special and makes a unique contribution to society. Everyone deserves to fully enjoy their lives, their natural, genetic and cultural beauty and their uniqueness. I am making this video because I feel the Western media does not allow EVERYBODY to enjoy their own uniqueness.

If race DIDN'T matter, the media would show ALL people, with ALL colours of hair, equally. But, that isn't the case in the West. If your race determines how and how much you are promoted in society, then it's clear that race DOES matter...

Constantly telling someone they are not as good as someone else is depressing, suffocating and in fact, emotionally abusive.

The media must set all women free of unecessary racial complexes about their genes and let them express their womanhood to their full potential.

The aim of this video is to get people to recognise the consequences of media bias, that things can get better for all of us and that: people can look different, but they are still equal.
