Hard to think of a greater scene in all cinema. It is such an inventive moment in a great imagining of the legend. Nicol Williamson who was Oscar worthy in this brillant role as Merlin died today making me recall the moment that even Merlin "never saw". Great story telling.

Not funny but effective. If you listen to most the responses by comediennes they get thrown off by heckling. George handled it like a pro.

This one gets a bit Prussian. I like KR elsewhere (eg. 5) but the harpsichord sounds like marching spoons and the overall effect is heavy and not pleasant. The 2nd movement is thick gravy.

Better than the Rothko Chapel which I have seen several times and find to be very dull Rothko. He choose a limited charcoal imbued pallet and was not in top form. Artists repeating themselves can lose inspiration. The chapel is not inspiring.

This one is done with Nicol. A jewel of a portrayal even greater than the film. Proof the Oscar is blind to certain types of films. What a charming wise witty and funny performance. So long.
