You're right, they're in a deadheat, I listen to the Osborne Bros as often as Herb. You really know music, I go back to the early days of the first underground music station, KMPX, and KFAT etc. keep up the great music finds. Dan

This is by far the best rendition I've ever heard of this magnificient piece of music, and I've heard most of them, Steve has put together a really unique piece of poetic changes and emphases at just the right times. Great stuff

I've probably listened to her original version a coupla hundred times and yet I heard this just now and love it besty, her complex vocal changes are in full bloom in this extyraordinary piece of genius. P.S. listen to ther other version sometime with head phones on for a rythm surprise of a life...
