Sounds like a fuzz pedal in front of it. Not my cup of tea. Maybe it's the sozo's...I use Mallory 150's in my builds and like the tone much better.

Hard to find a better sounding amp and I build my own.

The version from An Evening With is the best I have heard. I wish that one was on video. Gregg can't remember the words for some reason.

OK fellas. I have these loaded in my hand built AB763 amp with 6V6 tubes and the clean tone is soooo organic and fat sounding. These speakers are king. Weber is having a sale on the 12's right now and if you are looking for some inspiring speakers, try these. Mine aren't even close to being broke...

There are some dvd's on ebay. Not commercial quality but good enough for me. I bought the Allman Brothers guitar songbook #2 so I could learn this song. Not for the novice for sure. They played this with the fire that Dwayne and Dickey had in 1969-1971. Warren helped revive these guys in the 90's.

Alright let me break it down for everybody-The Allman Brothers of today have tried to play this and do it no justice period, but this band plays this song with a fierce passion that Warren and Derek are lacking. I've seen em live many times and seriously I would rather see these guys live!
