The distrust of some Greeks is due to the past between our two countries. Bulgarian WW2 occupation of Macedonia (along with fascists), later helping Greek communists during Greek civil war, and FYROM nationalists that is once again threatening our country again with historical gibberish (while oppressing their own Bulgarian roots) makes some Greeks distrusting.

I don't think it makes sense to fight over past conflicts though (the balkan ultra nationalist mentality) I generally like most Bulgarians. All I expect is to be treated no better or worse than anyone else. Everyone is an individual. If you have no problem with Greeks I have no problem with you. My apologies and all the best.
