Fred Rao founded eChineseLearning in Beijing in 2006. While he was teaching Chinese in a Chinese language school in the U.S., he was acutely aware of the challenges Chinese learners were facing. His solution is one of ingenuity and simplicity offer one-on-one instruction based on each students specific needs. He once said, "We held a very simple belief when we started the school to offer effective and affordable Chinese education to each learner around the world by leveraging Internet Technology." So far, more than 1000 students from around the world from age 4 to 75 have studied Chinese at eChineseLearning.

Our management team consists of dynamic individuals with rich experience in Chinese language instruction from world-famous universities such as Stanford University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Beijing Language and Culture University, all working together to create the best possible language learning experience.
