Yeah, but 390merc's Ford is 32 years old. I have never seen a 20 year old Japanese car on the road let a alone a 32 year old one. Plus it's much easier to drop an engine into a solid body than it is to replace a rusted out body and frame. You say all you see is Fords broken down on the road? Oh really? How many Crown vic police cars and E-series ambulances do you see broken down? None. In fact the Crown Victoria is so reliable that it's  used for taxi service even after the abuse of daily police work. I'm willing to bet they will hold up and will cheaper to maintain than your overrated and overpriced Toyota..Using the "fix or repaired daily" slogan from over 30 years ago and applying to Fords today shows how ignorant you are to facts.
