The creatures are actually pretty decent looking, the problem is that the movie has no plot, and is BORING.

That was REALLY REALLY well done! It felt like they'd actually done that themselves!

If you're just listening to this, and not watching so you'd see the lack of the chairs and the gang, you can SO easily think this is an mst3k episode... BRING BACK MST3K, GUYS!!! PLEASE!!!

@AladerPoop78 You are absolutely right about the dinosaur. They used the original 1954 Godzilla roar...How the film producers got away with that I don't know.

@vennylos Actually this is the best Gamera film of the original series, mainly because it doesn't try to pander to little kids the way the other original films did... Other than the lack of monster action, it's very much in tone and style to the 90's Gamera trilogy which are three of the best gia...

I don't see that this movie is all that bad, honestly. Other than some of the cheesy 60s production and art design, it's fairly realistic in it's portrayal of space flight, and the story isn't bad.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mst3k tremendously... I just am perplexed by some of the films the choose to make fun of, cause more than once they've had good movies... Say Marooned, or Gamera vs Barugon. Even this... Other than a pointless retitling, and pathetic joining of the 2 episodes, Space 199...

My ONLY critisism is the lower pitched music- doesn't really work. Otherwise, frickin awesome- and I would love to see this in nuwho (which won't ever happen, cause they'd rather be "trendy and cool" than anything else.

Time to settle the Godzilla vs Gamera debate... Watch Destroyer. It uses it's laser horn attack and should've (and for a nanosecond does) cut Godzilla in half... but his healing factor repairs the damage AS the beam slices through him. I saw this when I was maybe 5 or 6... I really didn't remember much but the eye on his shoulder. It's actually a decent little film, and the villain fr MOTHRA is the lead investigator, which is sweet...

CG definitely has a place... But it's a shame that old-school effects are so looked down upon any more. A even blend of the two, I think, would be the best approach.

Very well done. You managed to make the figures work as characters, and make the viewer forget that they're watching toys... That's something to be proud of.

G2k I think is along with GxM one of the best g-films of recent years.

I know it'd be impossible to do with the existing footage, but man do I wish that there was a way to have them physically attack one another, as well as trade beam attacks.

I love this! you did a great job! It just sucks that you were stuck with the two only trading beam attacks, cause see them engage toe to toe, pounding on one another would've been AWESOME! But you did great with what you had.

@AK107DX And the big irony about the two companies hating each other is that Daiei started as s sister company of Toho. It's just stupid that they won't try to put Gamera and Godzilla together, cause it'd be epic.

I've not seen the entire series yet, but this is the funniest damn thing I've seen in a long time, and so far my favorite episode!

@Phaedrusgr As far as I've been able to tell, it's never mentioned. My friend found a box set of the audio plays on amazon, but it was a best-of... and VERY expensive. But it might be found elsewhere cheaper... could at least get the ball rolling.

I gotta say, I personally prefer Orchestral music for my sci-fi and superheroes, but that song fit absolutely perfectly! As crazy as it sounds, it was even a little moving. Great, great job!

Only 13 episodes were ever made, by design.(The logic of the stupid idea is unfathomable) and in 1994 a us company made Ultraman Powered...Again, only 13 frikkin episodes. To all those making fun of this show... 1: The producers weren't allowed to have the budget they wanted to have to have spidey behave closer to the comic 2: There were tight restrictions on what they could do action wise 3: Do you people not yet understand that the world existed BEFORE computers?...

Kids today have no respect for the past or for tradition. Not surprising, considering most of the can't even spell.
