It's based on Hellsing Ultimate, the OVAs. I think you can find the whole series so far on YouTube, both the old one and current running OVAs.
It is an EPIC anime, really good.

Personal opinion: they are making a movie (movies ?) for the Berserk. I think the possibility is really high that they are going to make a new game shortly after the movie.
