I had the same issues with running too fast, so I just start it in 2nd gear (drive) and keep it out of sport mode on the tranny. I do that to keep my car in the 11.5 range. Makes it a solid bracket car. Need to go to a rented track day to see what you can really do.

Wow, both slower than they could be, even the ZR1. But, then again, I did see a Shelby GT500 in the 14's at the track a few weeks back. Same with a new GT350. Both were in dire need of a driver mod :-)
