The Bluescasters are one of Michigan's finest blues, jump swing, and blues-rock bands. In six years since forming, the band has already made the finals of the Detroit Blues Society's blues challenge for live performance. Their CDs, "Five Dimes" and "Give Yourself the Blues", made the finals of the Detroit Music Award's "Best Blues/R & B recording" category. The band was also a finalist in the DMA 2006 "Best Blues/R & B Artist" category. In 2009, Brian replaced founding member Kerry Adams on guitar.
