Once upon a time in a land far away, DV Musick was born Darrell M."Bell" Varney .The name "MUSICK" is more than a pseudonym to DV, it is ancestral.
The surname Musick is in his family tree. It is more than a name to Varney, it is in his blood. It is a birthright, a blessing & a curse.
DV discovered his passion for music, art & rhyming at a very young age winning his first poetry recital contest at only 8 years old.
DV wrote & performed his first music act in a local talent show at the age of 13. He graduated from Concord Senior High in NC and went on to get his Doctorates Degree graduating from TheSchool of HardKnocks in '99 where he is still an active member of its Alumni today.
DV is the author of 'Chronicles in Vision & Verse', The founder and president of TheSecretPoetsSociety, a licensed publishing company, event host and poetry group founded in Charlotte, NC.
DV hosts an OpenMic PoetrySession once a month.
He is known in the music realm for his many pseudonyms DarkWhiteDavinci, Mr.SnippitZSounds-D-Fekdiv, ThirdEye, JohneeCash 5000 and others as a self made producer of audio, lyrical & sound collaborations. He now resides in Illville, USA which is in the state of what he calls, Mind.
