I'm very active in politics and enjoy political debates. Typically my beliefs range somewhere between conservative and libertarian.

I generally support a smaller, less powerful government and believe that people should be free to make their own choices without government intervention, so long as those choices don't intrude on the rights of others.

I am very disappointed with the major two-party system in the United States and would like to see more third party candidates getting elected into major government positions.

The Republican and Democrat Parties both get on my nerves, but typically I have closer ties with the Republican Party and generally vote Republican in elections, but I also sometimes support the Libertarian Party (they typically aren't as likely to win, but they're right about certain issues, and that is what is important to me).

I am highly critical of the Democrat Party in the United States and do everything I can to convince people not to vote for them.

Religiously, I am a Roman Catholic...sort of. By sort of, I mean I like what the vast majority of churches do for communities around the country, they are good for organizing community activities and charitable fundraisers, and usually kids who are active in church activities are less likely to get in trouble or do drugs, and I fully support that (as well as any other religious organization which can take teachings from the Bible or Torah or Book of Mormon or whatever your guide is and turn it into something productive.) I am very much outraged by the recent scandals in the Catholic Church to cover up instance of child abuse and I fully support any action by the church or other organizations to have the people responsible brought to justice.

Now, on the other hand, while we're on the topic of religion, I don't really follow the 'blind devotion' principles. I fully support scientific expansion, as well as being skeptical. I cannot stand when religious groups try to stand in the way of science, and believe that they can pass laws forcing government to condone a specific religion. However, I also cannot stand when progressive groups who are offended by religion push to have public displays of religion, such as holiday displays, banned from being viewed in public places (as long as these displays are privately funded).

I am pro-life, but at the same time I am also pro-stem cell research, and I am actually dumbfounded that anyone would be against stem cell research, it's not like it makes any difference to the aborted baby at that point whether it's used for research or not, but it can make all the difference in the world to the people the research is trying to save.

If you feel like having an open, civilized debate by all means you are welcome to post on my page. If not, if you want to just bitch and whine using language that is barely, if at all, legible, you are still welcome, as I find it very humorous and entertaining.:D
