    I have this song on a 45 and I think Eddie does a great job on it. The flip side is called Did You Close Your Eyes, and some people may think it is better song. I love them both, since I have always loved Eddie's voice, no matter what he sings.

    Eddie recorded two Christmas albums, one in the 1950's and one in 1969 on the Dot label. The Dot album is called Mary Christmas and has wonderful Christmas songs on it. But I do like Christmas Eve In My Hometown. I understand Kate Smith also recorded it, but Eddie is by far the best.
