F.A.Q.:
1. Q: What guitar do you use to record your covers? A: My guitar is a highly modified Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top, which was built in December of 2008, at the Qingdao factory. I bought it new in march 2011.
- changed pickups to Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro
- changed the stock plastic nut to a Tusq XL for better tone and tunning stability
- changed the stock capacitors to OrangeDrop 0.022uf
- changed the pots and wiring to Jimmy Page Wiring Diagram, using Push-Pull pots on all controls
- changed tuners to Kluson TPKB3-N
2. Q: What amp do you use? A: I have a Roland Cube 20X amp, hoping for a Marshall in the future :)
3. Q: What effects/pedals do you use? A: I only use my Dunlop Wah CGB-95 and rarely as overdrive, my Marshall Guv'nor GV-2 Plus Pedal.
4. Q: How do you record your sound/videos? A: I use direct line-in recording, using a stereo cable from my amp to my line-in. As for videos, I record them using my Logitech Pro 9000 which is able to record in HD 720p.
5. Q: What software do you use to edit your guitar sound/videos? A: For sound, I use Sony SoundForge Pro 10, and for my video editing, I use Cyberlink PowerDirector 10.
6. Q: What strings do you use?
A: I use Ernie Ball Slinkys 11-48, they work great for me, stays in tune better than others and gives a great tone overall.
7. Q: How long have you been playing guitar?
A: Not much, I've been only playing since july of 2009, self-taught.
