I saw Jeter's Tony-winning performance, and I will remember it as long as I live. That's what I said at the time, too. It was one of the heights of my theatregoing experience.

It's so interesting when he explains that he had to light all those matches with his left hand (because of the way the shot was set up). I watched him do it in the promo, but it never occurred to me that he wasn't using his right hand.

I THOUGHT that was Jerry Lanning. What a gorgeous voice and what a sexy man. I saw him once on tour in 1776 as the sexiest John Dickinson ever, and later on Broadway as Freddy in My Fair Lady. I had quite a crush.

Nice to see the choreography but I think it's more poignant when the older ladies aren't so good. Mary McCarty in her sad little outlet mall party dress was so touching.

I wish somebody would post the credit sequence. Francis Lai's title theme is one of the most gorgeous things I've ever heard.

This was a very good movie. I believe it was unsuccessful, though. People didn't want to see movies about difficult, war-related (whether actual war or anti-terrorism) subjects.

Audra's a big girl, and when she talks about little Jane Powell with her "little waist" she's mocking herself. I realize it may be a little subtle, but she doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
