INTERNATIONAL MALAYALAM FILM AWARDS 2011 ,In the breathtaking surrounds of the Al Badia Golf Club at Dubai Festival City last night an event unfolded that will no doubt change the face of the UAE's Film & Cinema industry forever.

Malayalam cinema aficionados filled the elaborately designed venue at the Al Badia Golf Club, to celebrate the first ever "International Malayalam Film Awards", as a part of 40th national day celebrations in UAE,

with the support from Dubai Tourism Department , Dubai Events & Promotions and Dubai Studio City.

As Sathar Al Karan, the man behind the venture put it, "We're doing our best to showcase the Malayalam film industry on a new and International level".
