DTWG Choir/Group is becoming a renowned name in the UK Gospel industry, founded in 2003 by Sam Adebanjo & support from others. They have worked with artists such; Dr Ron Kenoly, Mary Mary, Osmond Collins, Terry McColman, Trinitee5:7, Muyiwa, Sonnie Badu and, Neol Robinson, to name a few...
Their vision "Is to use the powerful message of the gospel to impact their generation; as well as promoting gospel music in mainstream communities".
Since the groups' formation in 2003, its members have organised and featured in various events across the UK and beyond. They have also been opportune to have featured on various TV and radio stations; including BBC1, BBC3, Premier Christian Radio, BBC Radio, OHTV, Ben TV and more. The group had one of their song by Kristyna Myles break into the UK Top 10 album chart, with her melodic song titled "My Lord". This track appeared alongside tracks from Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu on the 2008' compilation CD 'Songbird.
Their Music has been well received by Christians and non-Christians across the country. Since the release of 'The Project' DTWG album, DTWG has received much recognition, recently winning the BEFFFTA Awards for Best Gospel Act category 2010. They have also been nominated for the MOBO Awards 2009, Gospel Music Awards 2009 & 2010, African Music Award and Urban Music Award 2010.
