When did they put in the "doors are closing"? That's not original to these cars, the original sound box would just put out a double-tone when the conductor would hit his door-close button. In around 1989 I heard the tones on some cars getting well off key, so maybe these old boards just died.

I noticed the train was running north on the southbound track. SEPTA must have been single tracking that day. At about 5:26 you passed the wire train! It has a different model Silverliner IV (one with a center door) on the tail end. I suppose the workers use it to test the power flow.
