SUBJ: Controversial Hillary Campaign Poster Plastered Across Ground Zero

During a trip to Ground Zero on January 31, 2008, I captured this video of a startling campaign poster for Hillary Clinton plastered throughout the area.

The sign shows a picture of Osama bin Laden holding President Bush as his puppet. Hillary raises a pair of scissors to cut the strings by which Osama wields control of the American president. Next to this image appears the message: "Stop the hijacking of America. Vote to end crusader baiting. VOTE HILLARY. Paid for by hillary4usa.com" (a website that connects to Hillary Clinton's official website.)

I first saw it as a 2' by 4' sign on the city bus that stops at the front of the World Trade Center site (near the corner of Church and Vesey.)

As I toured the perimeter of Ground Zero, I saw smaller letter-sized versions of this sign posted in at least a dozen different places, including on: the World Trade Center Memorial Museum, statues in Liberty Plaza (adjacent to the World Trade Center site), various walls and structures surrounding Ground Zero, and later at Grand Central Station.
