My name is David Cortes aka DTRIX. Im a Pro photographer, I've been shooting for many years way before digital cameras. My first camera used a 110 film. Do you remember that? I took photography because a friend said it was an easy credit. That I wouldn't have to any work but show up to class. And I automatic would pass with a 75, but if i liked taking pictures, I would have a chance for a 100. When I first saw the magic of it showing up on a blank white paper, under the clear water, an image would appear and for the first time in many years a "100" i appear on my report card not onetime but many. So I follow it in college and by mistake Im still taking pictures.

For fun I do stand up comedy. It became my dream and it got on my do do "my life time on earth" list. Stand up comedy was something I had to do at least one time in my life. That spark started the first time I saw eddie murphy doing standup comedy. I grew up in Puerto Rico even though I was born in NY. My first Abc and 1, 2, 3,was taught out there so when I came back to NY the world had change and I had to learn english. So you see I never seen a comedian or maybe I did but I was to young and didn't understand it. So when I saw eddie I was on the floor then I started to see my self on stage and the laugh were for me wow. So I started to follow his comedy and watch other comedians on a low radar from people learning style and how and what I would do and what I wouldn't. In school or with family & friendsI would do an act, maybe something i saw or something i would make up and for the first time I started to get my own laughs. Then I started to look at life different and learn the I know a comedian and he was in front of me the whole time, my father. But what do you do if you are really shy and people don't know it and you can't get on stage cause your are stage fright; Take a class of course. It was the hardest thing for me, to get on that stage and learn to breath and say something on the mic. After I taking the class and learning. To learn that I have to perform my first time on stage in front of 350+ people wow. The Biggest high is to get laughs. ..
I also do sounds and voice characters, I even do voice overs ones in a while for little extra cash....
