About Me

Well, what to say.....

I've ridden horses all my life and pretty much do all english. I have taught western pleasure to a pony and shown but I love dressage, jumping, and eventing the most. I ride all my families horses at Windrose Farm with my sister Melissa Lestina. We do take in training horses sometimes, depends on how much time we both have. We have lots of cool jumps now :) and more to come.
Right now my main horses are George and Noche. I'm mostly doing eventing this year because it's so much fun!! But I do show dressage at schooling shows and CDS sometimes. I've very excited this year because I'm going to start showing at USEA rated shows!!!
George
George is a off the race track Thoroughbred that I got from a 4-H mom. He's such a crouch sometimes lol. I think the only reason he enlightens me in doing dressage is because jumping has to be around the corner soon for him. But I have never had a more dependable horse for jumping. He is a machine when it comes to jumping, he doesn't care what it looks like just point and let him do his thing. The beginning of this year he was kind of out because of an old bow tendon injury before I got him but he's back to work and I'm getting ready for Galway event derby in March as his 1st outing for this year.

Noche
Noche is a Anglo-Trankener that my family traded for with one of our lesson ponies, Tom. He is the sweetest horse however but he is huge being 17hds. He's just like me though because he is a child on the inside, we like to cause trouble, and sometimes we both don't feel like doing much. We both kind of doze in and out sometimes which is kinda funny. I have to hand it to this big guy though because he is sooo talented, he can jump the moon if he wasn't so lazy sometimes. But I love him and I have no doubt he will be an awesome event horse :). His first event will be the March 3 day ranch event at Novice, very excited and hope to do well.

Other horses
So I ride a lot of other horses doing hunters, jumpers, english pleasure and whatever else they need to be taught or is doing. One thing I do for sure, is I always try to do something fun with them and change up their work because I get bored going around in a area too :).
