Based on author Philip Pullman's bestselling and award-winning novel, The Golden Compass tells the first story in Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. The Golden Compass is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in an alternative world where people's souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. At the center of the story is Lyra (played by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards), a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who's been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers - and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well. The Golden Compass stars an ensemble cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Sam Elliott, and Ian McShane. The film is written and directed by Chris Weitz (About A Boy, Antz) and produced by Deborah Forte and Bill Carraro (Frequency).

before anything i must say this:
on average something like
The cost of the weights were not included in the price. we didn't include the price because the price fluctuates. We reccomend old bike pegs because they are easy to attach and easy to mount. anything heavy works. If you want you can buy more male adapters and use the base plates as weights but that tends to be more expensive. Also the reason why we used tape was because it is cheep! that was our goal to build the cheepest and most effective steadicam that you build yourself
you will need:
-3 2ft 3/4 inch pvc pipe -2 45 degree 3/4 inch adaptors -1 tee Connector -1 3/4 inch floor flange (base plate) -1 1/4 x 3/4 bolt -1/4 hex nut -Duct tape -several washers to help tighten the camera to the steadicam
Make sure everything screws in and fits!
Try your best to follow exactly what we did. the most important thing is finding a right weights to use. once you have the right ones selected (we reccomend bike pegs) you must mount them. Duct tape works great but you can go more elaborate by screwing them down if you want to be extra safe. After mounting weights you must put your camera on the rig. make sure the camera is ballanced left and right before anything. if it isn't then make adjustments on how you mount it. REMEMBER THIS IS DIY you must IMPROVISE! after getting left and right ballance you must ballance it forward and backward. if its too front heavy trim a few inches off the front end and then re attach the weight. be carefull and do your best job because the better ballanced the better it will be.
DONT BE AFRAID TO IMPROVISE!
Finally tape down all joints.
once your all done take it for a spin. the longer the legs are and heavier the weights are the more stable.
This concludes this tutorial and if you read this correctly you shouldn't have to ask me questoins but if you have some please go ahead and ask!

"The Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin Music by Page and Plant
Thanks to Lynn in Scotland for reminding me I was supposed to re-do this at some point. It's kind of a springtime song for me, but what the hey. It's always springtime somewhere, right?
This "arrangement" incorporates some elements from the bass and mellotron parts but there is no attempt to play the vocal line. (That I'd like to see).
Therefore it's presented to you so that you can sing along and post your version of Planto's masterpiece. I know one or two of you who could do a killer vocal take on this. C'mon. Or you can be like me and sing to it in your apartment and frighten the neighbors.
Sorry, I have no tablature available. The chords and music are readily available in decent "recorded-versions" books which should still be in print.
Martin 000-17s; mahogany construction
Oh, and the tuning: dgcgcd (this matches the 6 string used in the recording, not the 12 string tuning. I believe it also corresponds to the tuning on the 6-string neck of the double neck used in concert. If you give a hoot about this sort of information, see the wikipedia.org article on this song for more.)

Jamie Smart from Salad Ltd demonstrating eye accessing cues and gestures. This is a great tool for helping people work out how they are dealing with certain issues. Is it an image, sound or feeling? Are they remembering something or constructing something? Once you've figured that part out you can move on to tackle the problem. For example is someone using internal dialogue for good or to beat themselves up? Are they constructing negative images that are holding them back? Taken from Salad's NLP Practitioner Course.
