Adding to ripping off The Beatles' bass line, rhythm guitar, lead break and guitars from 'Taxman' and the whole 'Revolver' period, it is interesting to observe that Weller and Co. have also appropriated the look of the 1966 Fabs. No imagination.

Not surprising that this was a hit given that they were using the riffs, rhythm track, lead break, guitars and clothes that The Beatles had used when they recorded 'Taxman' (listen to the riff, and look at the back of the 'Revolver' album). Pre-Oasis rip-off's reflecting a total lack of imagination.

Good for Mark Hudson (He is wearing a cap here): he plays guitar perfectly. And he has some great Beatles' stories.
Look at Dhani's face at 4.08 - he is the spitting image of George.

I have always thought that 'So Sad' (interesting that Paul also recorded a wonderful song with this title, too, later), and 'Simply Shady' were first-rate songs, unlike the other ones on 'Dark Horse'.
As a couple of others have said, George's voice is great here, it was...

For guitar players, first (to play along to this demo) tune all strings down just under a half step (to about 444.5 cents).
Then, put a capo on the 7th. fret, and play G, Em, D and C chord *shapes* (verses). I think that the verses are Am, B7, and maybe E chord ...
Wonderful. Thanks for posting this.
