They were a TAD emo way back. I could explain the whole sadness behind the lyrics (Unless you already know about the whole "story" thing they do w/ their cds) That would be like saying "Okay, everything by Anne Rice is emo." How can a BOOK be emo?
People read my list of fave bands and say "You say you hate emo but you listen to MCR and the USED, that makes you a hypocrite." No, that makes THEM an idiot. Am I supposed to say "I want to be a metalhead, so from now on I'm ONLY listening to metal." If I think it sounds good, I listen to it regardless of the genre. Listening to one or two metal bands doesn't make you a metalhead, and the same goes for any other genre. If any of that stupid categorizing applied, I'd be a punk rock gothic emo raver sophisticated suit-and-cane homie metalhead with a violin.
