I was actually stationed at the Crash/Fire Department a year before this happened. I left for a short tour assignment in Honduras in 2002.

I still remember the day detail for detail and the most memorable thing that I can remember was right before the race began, Dale and Teressa prayed together then kissed each other just before Dale got into the car. That image still haunts me to this day.

God damnit! I had tickets to this concert, but I had to sell them because I was in the process of moving and had to start my new job the next day. I hate myself.
