Sounds like this guy suggests everything but stock just to make this kit sound good. I can't believe Gretsch hasn't canned his ass for downplaying the sound of this kit. After looking at this video, I wouldn't make the purchase, which I can only appreciate.

Hey dude, check out the clinical video that Steve Smith did where he broke down the structure of how he composed the drum track on this tune.It's actually pretty complex for a riff that sounds easy. You got great meter...and that says alot!
